Partner Programme Monday 15 June 0830-1615 City of Heidelberg Tuesday 16 June 0830-1600 Frankfurt City Tour Wednesday 17 June 0830-1615 The Rhine Valley Visit the beautiful city of Heidelberg beginning with its famous 14 th century Castle and historic buildings, after which you can enjoy a traditional lunch in the 250 year old restaurant “Zum Goldenen Schaf” (the Golden Sheep). Then you will have time to wander around the Old Town among the University buildings, also dating back to the 14 th century, steeped in history and set in glorious natural surroundings on the River Neckar, across which you can find the 18 th century Old Bridge. Heidelberg is regarded as one of the most beautiful cities in Germany Familiarise yourself with the City of Frankfurt on board the Ebbelwei-Express (Apple Wine Express) in a relaxed and traditional manner, whilst enjoying a glass of Frankfurt’s famous Apple Wine, accompanied by music and pretzels. This historic tram passes many of Frankfurt’s attractions and you will have the opportunity to visit the “Paulskirche” and the “Goethehaus”, followed by lunch on a leafy terrace at one of the famous “Sachsenhausen” taverns. After lunch there will be a visit to the “Staedel” Museum and you will be accompanied back to the hotel by your guide A trip through the wonderful valley of the River Rhine, with its spectacular landscape, which will begin with wine-tasting at the famous Sektkellerei “Henkell & Co”, after which you can enjoy a boat trip along the River Rhine to St. Goarshausen. Lunch will then be served at a restaurant located on the Loreley plateau from where you will have breathtaking views and the chance to discover the local historical development and cultural heritage 11
