Multiple tickets – Purchase multiple tickets of different fare types in<br />

one transaction, provided they are the same distance trip.<br />

One-or two-week pass – Valid beginning on the date of purchase for<br />

7 or 14 consecutive days, respectively (includes days when there is no<br />

<strong>Sound</strong>er service). Passes are valid on special event service.<br />

Monthly pass – Valid for the calendar month; may be purchased from<br />

the 15th of previous month to the 14th of valid month. Example: A May<br />

pass may be purchased from April 15th to May 14th and is valid May 1 –<br />

31. You cannot purchase the current month’s pass after the 14th.<br />

There are no refunds or replacements on TVM-issued tickets.<br />

ST Express regional bus fare information<br />

Bus fares can be paid in cash at the farebox or by using a PugetPass,<br />

FlexPass, U-Pass, or GoPass. Drivers carry no change – please have<br />

exact fare. Follow the driver’s direction to pay when you enter or leave<br />

the bus.<br />

Transfers<br />

An ST Express bus transfer is issued upon request when paying with cash<br />

or tickets. A rider paying cash to upgrade their pass is also eligible for a<br />

transfer. No transfer is issued when using only a pass to pay the fare. The<br />

ST Express transfer will be punched based on the number of fare zones<br />

paid (one, two or three zones).<br />

Using partner agency transfers on ST Express<br />

Valid transfers from Community <strong>Transit</strong>, King County Metro and Pierce<br />

<strong>Transit</strong> are accepted on ST Express as a one-zone ST Express fare (Adult<br />

$1.50, Youth $1.00, Senior/Disabled $0.50).<br />

Using ST Express transfers on partner agency service<br />

Valid transfers from ST Express are accepted on Community <strong>Transit</strong> and<br />

Pierce <strong>Transit</strong> for a local fare. King County Metro accepts ST Express<br />

transfers as a one-zone fare.<br />

Using <strong>Sound</strong>er single trip tickets on bus service<br />

A <strong>Sound</strong>er single-trip ticket is valid for face value on ST Express bus<br />

services. A <strong>Sound</strong>er single-trip ticket or fare upgrade is valid for a onezone<br />

fare on King County Metro and a local fare on Community <strong>Transit</strong><br />

and Pierce <strong>Transit</strong>. The transfer ticket must be used prior to the expiration<br />

time on the ticket.<br />
