Chers lecteurs,
Dans ce numéro d’été, vous allez découvrir notre article « Tendance
» sur les licences venues d’ailleurs… Le Manga et les telenovelas,
entre autres, sont des formats propres à leur pays d’origine.
Cependant, avec la mondialisation, les modes de consommation ont
tendance à s’uniformiser et l’Europe intègre peu à peu ces licences
dans l’offre des produits proposés.
Notre dossier central consacré au Gift montre que ce secteur
s’élargit. Le cadeau est le secteur privilégié de la décoration d’intérieure
et du gadget haut de gamme. Sur ces lignes de produits dits
d’achat d’impulsion, le graphisme et l’esthétique priment et font la
différence. Les différentes interprétations et mises en couleurs des
chartes originales permettent une vraie différenciation de l’offre et
séduisent les consommateurs.
Un petit tour dans le e-commerce pour confirmer l’émergence de
ce réseau de distribution avec lequel il va falloir compter à l’avenir.

This summer issue includes a Trends focus on properties from
other parts of the world such as Japan and Brazil: Mangas and
Telenovelas – among other examples – are specifically devised for
their country. However, globalization has induced a standardization of
consumer patterns and therefore Europe is slowly but surely including
these properties in licensing programs.
Our main report on the Gift category shows how this segment is
growing. It’s the favored category of the home deco market as well
as the high-quality gadget market. Design and appearance reign
over these ranges that come under the impulsive purchase category
where they make the difference. Different versions and color ranges
of the original style guides enable real offering differentiation and
that’s what attracts buyers.
We also surveyed online sales to ascertain the rise of that distribution
circuit with which we’ll have to contend in the future.
