Featuring Former US Congressman Duncan Hunter (ret.), a Vietnam Veteran<br />

who served in the 173rd Airborne and 75th Army Rangers and who has<br />

helped the U.S. textile industry through various legislative actions and has<br />

represented eastern and northern San Diego County in the U.S. Congress for<br />

28 years. Mr. Hunter will be introduced and awarded the “Award of Outstanding<br />

Military Merit”.<br />

Joining Representative Hunter as a special guest will be Gunnery Sergeant<br />

(ret.) Nick Popaditch, Gunny Pop, Silver Star recipient and a true Marine<br />

hero known throughout the world as the Cigar Marine. He will inspire us to<br />

serve up the best we can for our warfighters as he relates how he used his<br />

motto "Marine discipline and energy" to overcome obstacles few of us could<br />

surmount.<br />
