Featuring Former US Congressman Duncan Hunter (ret.), a Vietnam Veteran
who served in the 173rd Airborne and 75th Army Rangers and who has
helped the U.S. textile industry through various legislative actions and has
represented eastern and northern San Diego County in the U.S. Congress for
28 years. Mr. Hunter will be introduced and awarded the “Award of Outstanding
Military Merit”.
Joining Representative Hunter as a special guest will be Gunnery Sergeant
(ret.) Nick Popaditch, Gunny Pop, Silver Star recipient and a true Marine
hero known throughout the world as the Cigar Marine. He will inspire us to
serve up the best we can for our warfighters as he relates how he used his
motto "Marine discipline and energy" to overcome obstacles few of us could
surmount.
