infrastructures and strengthen their
own national identities and character
and as a consequence, each
country formed its own national
airline.
High tech high pressure repair
By Martin Adnoff, Product
Marketing Manager, Satair A/S
The A380 utilizes a high tech 5000
PSI hydraulic system, which was
previously only used in high performance
fighter jets. While the
system has several benefits, such
as lower overall weight of the hydraulic
system, it also results in challenges
such as providing fast, easy
and permanent repairs to the high
performance metallic tubes found
throughout the airframe.
Satair and Eaton Aeroquip are
pleased to announce the suitability
of the Rynglok repair system to
provide permanent and trustworthy
repairs on all types of hydraulic sys-
The Rynglok system has been
around for many years and is used
throughout the commercial and
military community ensuring fast,
reliable and permanent repairs to
any kind of damage to the hydraulic
tubes. The system utilizes a fitting
which is permanently attached to
the tube using the proprietary Rynglok
permanent repair technique.
The fitting is made of high
strength titanium and will allow repair
of all metallic-tubes found in
the A380 and all other commercial
Within a few years, this tiny airstrip
at the foot of the Black Forest
Mountains becomes the Mecca for
the small but committed community
of German amateur aviators.
Very soon airborne radios ‘made in
Baden-Baden’ mark important steps
in the history of technology: high
selectivity and transmitting power,
enlarged frequency-range, modular
manufacturing.
Additionally, the Rynglok system
is the only system which, currently,
enables operators to utilize one type
of repair kit to cover all pressure
classes from the low pressure to the
5000 PSI system found on the Airbus
A380.
The Rynglok kit thus allows ultimate
flexibility and ease of repair to
the hydraulic tubes regardless of the
type of aircraft operated.
