Sir: I have the honor to submit a paper on the "Ethnobotany of<br />

the Tewa Indians," by Wilfred W. Robbins, John P. Harrington, and<br />

Barbara Freire-Marreco, which forms a part of the results of the<br />

ethnological and archeological research in the upper Rio Grande Valley<br />

of New Mexico, undertaken jointly by the Bureau of American<br />

Ethnology and the School of American Archaeology m 1910 and<br />

1911. It is recommended that the paper be published as a bulletin<br />

of this bureau.<br />
