The Future Begins Now<br />
it running off, and I was sitting there in<br />
shock of what I had just done. Walking<br />
up on the bull was unreal. All I could<br />
see were the tips of his antlers, but I<br />
could see that he was big. This was a<br />
great memory made.<br />
Every hunt is different; hunts for<br />
different species are worlds apart. To<br />
see how they all intertwine is amazing,<br />
and it makes me feel even closer to<br />
nature those who claim to save the<br />
earth by eating a salad for lunch. I<br />
have always considered myself a<br />
sportsman, and love doing my part<br />
controlling predators. It would mean<br />
missing a week of school or baseball<br />
practice, but it would all be worth it to<br />
go spring bear hunting. The three bear<br />
that I have killed, in four years, could<br />
kill over 100 elk calves. It was truly<br />
amazing to see the number of elk, bulls<br />
more specifically, in the area. I believe<br />
that I was rewarded with one bull, by<br />
potentially saving many.<br />
