Day 1. Depart for our ferry crossing and journey to
Bruges.
Day 2. Day at leisure to enjoy all the delights that
Bruges has to offer.

YOUR ITINERARY:
Day 1. Early departure for our afternoon ferry and
overnight in Belgium.
Day 2. After breakfast we travel to Goslar in the Harz
Mountains.
Day 3. Free day to explore this charming and
wonderful imperial city.
Day 4. Depart after breakfast, calling at Ostend
before our journey home..
BATTLEFIELDS of the WESTERN FRONT 4 DAYS
Highlights: Ypres, Flanders Field Museum, Menin Gate and The Somme
The battles which took place in Flanders and The
Somme during the First World War were on a
massive scale and left countless thousand dead. From
our tour base in Mouscron we will be touring
Flanders and The Somme.
YOUR HOTEL: 3* Best Western Alize Hotel,
Mouscron
Centrally located hotel with restaurant, bar and lift.
All rooms are en suite with TV, hairdryer and
hospitality tray.
YOUR ITINERARY:
Day 1. Depart for our ferry crossing to Calais and
continue to our hotel in Mouscron.
Day 2. Tour to Ypres, a thriving historic town that
was devastated during the battles of World War 1.
See the Flanders Field Museum, the Menin Gate and
Day 4. Today we continue our journey to Berlin.
Day 5. Morning guided tour of Berlin with free time
to explore in the afternoon.
Day 6. Travel to Leipzig for a guided tour anf free
time, then on to Colditz village with it’s Castle.

Witness the Last Post Ceremony at Menin Gate.
(Today we have our evening meal in a restaurant
nearby the Menin Gate square in Ypres before the
last post ceremony)

France. See the Thiepval Memorial, Beaumont
Harmel Memorial Park with the “danger tree” and
