The beautiful half timbered towns in the Mosel Valley of Bernkastel-Kues and
Cochem are a delight, with Koblenz on the banks of the Rhine & Mosel, all have a
wonderful atmosphere of the German Markets.
YOUR HOTEL: 4* Moseltern Hotel, Cochem.
All rooms with private facilities, Lift, Bar and Restaurant overlooking the Mosel.
YOUR ITINERARY:
DAY 1 Depart for our early afternoon, crossing to Calais, arriving at our
hotel Mecure, Liege by early evening.
DAY 2 Depart for Koblenz, situated on the confluence of the Rhine and Mosel
rivers. Spend time in the centre and the Christmas Market. Continue
along the Mosel valley to your hotel at Cochem.
DAY 3 Travel along the Mosel valley to Bernkastel-Kues with its half timbered
houses and Christmas market. Return to Cochem Christmas Market.
DAY 4 Depart after an early breakfast to Calais for the late afternoon crossing to
Dover and home.

CHRISTMAS MARKETS
Highlights: Valkenburg, Bonn, Cash & Carry Shopping
The pretty town of Valkenburg in the south eastern corner of Holland, produces
one of the most spectacular Christmas Markets in Europe. Held in Caves which are
now brightly lit and full of decorated stalls plus the famous Christmas Market at
Bonn.
YOUR HOTEL: 3* Schaepkins Hotel
This hotel is conveniently situated with restaurant, bar and lift. All rooms have
private facilities, TV, telephone and safe.
YOUR ITINERARY:
Day 1. We depart for our midday crossing to Calais, arriving at our hotel early
evening.
Day 2. A free day to enjoy all the delights of Valkenburg and it’s Christmas Market
which takes place between midday and 10.30pm.
Day 3. Excursion to Bonn Christmas Market.
Day 4. Departing early for late afternoon ferry via Cash & Carry French Shopping,
arriving home late evening.
