The Joint Review Committee on Education in Diagnostic Medical Sonography makes<br />
accreditation recommendations for diagnostic medical sonography (DMS) programs<br />
to the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs.<br />
Programmatic accreditation is awarded to programs that through a self-study and<br />
site visit demonstrate substantial compliance to published standards and guidelines<br />
specific to DMS.<br />
