Garag<strong>is</strong>te <strong>W<strong>in</strong>emak<strong>in</strong>g</strong> Course-University of Stellenbosch<br />

The Garag<strong>is</strong>te w<strong>in</strong>emak<strong>in</strong>g course of the Department Of Viticulture and Oenology<br />

at the University of Stellenbosch <strong>is</strong> a weekend course for people <strong>in</strong>terested <strong>in</strong><br />

produc<strong>in</strong>g quality small-scale w<strong>in</strong>es. Those w<strong>is</strong>h<strong>in</strong>g to attend will have the chance to<br />

observe the use of small-scale w<strong>in</strong>emak<strong>in</strong>g equipment, as well as taste a number of<br />

w<strong>in</strong>es that were produced on a small scale. The course focuses on all production<br />

aspects of small-scale w<strong>in</strong>emak<strong>in</strong>g and can be quite technical. The course <strong>is</strong><br />

presented by Wessel Du Toit, senior lecturer <strong>in</strong> Oenology at the university. Those<br />

Stellenbosch.<br />
