The breeding season occurs after<br />
hibernation in April or May.<br />
Gestation lasts 18-21 days and four<br />
to five young are in a litter. Females<br />
will produce two or three litters per<br />

and often confused. The meadow<br />
jumping mouse is smaller, duller in<br />
