Essential checklist for Graduation
Graduands may either:
I. Arrange to attend the graduation ceremony,
or
II. Arrange for your award to be conferred in absentia if you cannot attend
If you wish to attend:
1. Book your place for you and your guests according to the instructions on your Graduation Invitation by Friday 24th August
2012.
2. Order your robes from Wippells via www.wippellgownhire.co.uk as soon as possible (not later than 21 days prior to the
ceremony)
3. Tickets will be sent to your home address during week commencing 10th September 2012.
If you do not wish to attend:
1. Follow the instructions on your Graduation Invitation and let us know that you will not be attending. Your certificate will then
be sent to your home address after the Graduation ceremony if you have not already received it.
All Graduates please note:
1. You can only apply to come to Graduation if you have received an official Invitation to Graduation.
2. If you do not apply to come to graduation by Friday 24th August 2012, it will be assumed that you wish to obtain your
degree in absentia and not attend graduation.
3. You must clear all debts. You will not be allowed to attend your graduation ceremony if you are in debt to the University.
4. Keep Registry informed of any change to your Home Address as this is where we will send your tickets and where we will send
your certificate if you do not attend graduation.
