A student in the Residence
Hall parking lot reported that
someone tampered with a 1994
Acura and the air was let out of
the tires. There was no suspect
information.

Informational report
A student in the Residence
Hall reported he had been a
victim of battery. Campus Safety
and the Laramie County Sheriff’s
Department were contacted;
afterward the student who filed
said he was confused, and it
didn’t happen.

Assault
Supplemental to the
Informational report, the
student who claimed he was a
victim of assault, changed his
mind and named a suspect.
The suspect was identified to

In the Residence Hall, a
student reported someone
stole a wrist watch, valued at
$300. The theft was reported to
the Laramie County Sheriff’s
Department, who has received
suspect information and has
started a case.

Theft
In an office in Center for
Conferences and Institutes, the
reporting party said $130 cash
was left in a file cabinet during
three days, and on Dec. 10 the
$130 was missing. There is no
suspect information.

Theft
A student in the Residence
Hall reported three pairs of blue
denim jeans, two T-shirts and
assorted socks, estimated at
about $150 total, were stolen.
The student had left the clothing
in the Residence Hall washer for
about 14–15 hours unattended.
There was no suspect information.
Dec. 14
Minor in alcohol possession
A resident adviser conducting
checks for the winter break
Residence Hall checkout walked
into a room and found an
abundance of alcohol bottles
on a table in the room. Campus
Safety was contacted, and then
the Laramie County Sheriff’s
Department was contacted. The
two minors in the room in possession
of alcohol were issued
a notice to appear in court for
minors in possession of alcohol
(from the Laramie County
Sheriff’s Department).

A woman’s black handbag
was found in a Fine Arts
Building classroom. The owner
was identified by information
found in the bag, and Campus

Theft
In the PE department locker
room, a student left $95 in cash
in a wallet in an unlocked locker
and left the room unattended
between 3-4 p.m. When the
student returned, the money
was missing from wallet. There
was no suspect information.
The Laramie County Sheriff’s
Department was contacted and
took a report.

Found property
In the Ludden Library, a
woman’s brown wallet was
found. The owner of the wallet
was identified from information
found in the wallet. The owner
was contacted, and the wallet
was returned.

In Student Services, a small,
multicolored clutch purse that
contained $925 in cash was
found. The owner was identified
from information found in the
purse. The owner was contacted,
and the purse was returned.

Take out those old pair
of jeans you have tucked
away in the back of your
closet (You know...the
ones you keep hoping you
will fit into someday.), and
get rid of them. Donate
them through March 1 for
a chance to win a gift card.

was found in a Health Science
classroom. The owner was identified
from information found
in the purse. The owner was
contacted, and the purse was
returned.

Suspected drug possession
In the Residence Hall, a
resident adviser reported smelling
marijuana in a dorm room.
Campus Safety was contacted,
and then the Laramie County
Sheriff’s Department was
contacted, and the dorm room
was entered, and the residents
were talked to. The residents
were not under the influence
at the time. The individuals in
the dorm room stated they had
been smoking earlier but not
on school property. They also
were not in possession of any
marijuana.

“Real Beauty”
Display
Students will have the
opportunity to participate
in a large display
of “Real Beauty”
on LCCC’s campus. This
visual demonstration will
compare/contrast the
difference between what
media tells us is
beautiful and what
normal beauty looks like.
