Carl Fredrik von Breda (1759-1818), signed as “Portrait painter to the King of Sweden”. Jean Baptiste François Bulliard (1752-1793). His diagram of the classes of Linnaeus’s sexual system of classification was copied in Erasmus Darwin’s Loves of the plants, and copied from that source for use in the Botanical extracts. Edward Francis Burney (1760-1848) Francis Cotes (1726-1770). His name was misspelled “Coates” by Thornton’s engravers. William Curtis (1746-1799), signed as “Author of the Flora Londinensis”
