1870 Renaissance Victorian center table, solid rosewood, in the manner of John Jeliffe, NJ, inlaid top
of picnic scene of couple, ebony and capurthium elm burl inset top, molded and shaped skirt, shell
carved medallions, four bracketed and turned legs, shell and molded feet, molded stretcher with
finial, 36"w 24"d 30"t. Good recent finish/condition.
1870 Renaissance Victorian round parlor table, solid walnut, ebonized trim, varied wood floral inlaid
top on ebony, rosewood and elm burl bands, incised carved and burl skirt, canted molded legs,
incised carved saber feet with rosettes, turned center pedestal, 28" diameter 29"t. Good original
finish/condition, some bubbles on top no wood loss.
Beautiful brilliant cut glass vase, signed J Hoare & Co., Corning, 1853, band of double row flutes,
hobstar in diamonds around flared rim, notched stem, twenty four point hobstar on base, 12"t 5 1/2"
diameter. Good condition.
Brilliant cut glass pedestal vase, signed with a star in crescent, Eggington,corset shaped, beautifully
cut hobstar in diamond bands, fluted waist and pedestal, star cut base, 12"t 4 1/2" diameter. Good
condition.
Beautiful monumental Renaissance Victorian sideboard, solid walnut, burl panels, inset white marble
top, 9'11"t, three drawers over three panel doors with carved fish groups, carved and panel pilasters
with scroll leaf brackets, upper cabinets above drawers flanking tall mirror center, carved pilasters,
unusual bee hive with ribbon carved crest on cabinets, leaf and shell carved brackets on shell carved
frieze panel, 19"t arch molded crest with carved deer head between scroll carved dog, shell and bell
flower carved top, 71"w 26"d 8' 5" without crest, this item has some features of A Roux, in came
from a home in the Baltimore, Maryland area. Good original finish/condition.
Pair of fine intaglio cut glass compotes, sterling bases, signed Hawkes on base and glass, floral
pattern, diamond cut star, 8" diameter 4 1/2"t. Good condition.
Fine 1870 Renaissance Victorian gilt pier mirror, 10' 4"t, 16" marble top base, fitted to 59"w
valances on each side, for a total width of 12' 5", two toned gilt finish, deep reticulated shell in
cartouche with scrolls, molded pilasters with scroll brackets and bell flowers, shell carving at bottom,
serpentine front and sides with cabochon medallions 38"w, valances fit 54" window, mirror alone is
just under 9', 33"w, a beautiful example out of a Watertown, New York mansion. NEW PHOTOS
Original finish, has some flaking/wear/small pieces missing.
1880 Renaissance Victorian gilt pier mirror, 9' 10"t, Albert C. Lowe, Inc., Philadelphia, Gold
Gilders, multiple shell, scrolled, floral, fluted and bracketed triple crest, incised carved ivy on
pilasters with shell and scrolled brackets, bracketed shelf in center of column base, 33"w. Good
original gilt, shows wear, missing marble on base shelf.
