1840 Curule form ottoman, solid mahogany, scroll X form legs with rosettes and reticulated carved bell<br />
flowers, turned stretcher, 16 1/2"t 23" x 15". Old finish/condition, old repair on one leg.<br />

Mid 1800 kerosene lamp, brass fluted pedestal, floral/scroll pattern reprousse brass on double step<br />
marble base, pattern glass font-diamond band and loop, 12"t. Good condition, original burner.<br />
1830 carved Federal two over four drawer chest, flame and solid mahogany, well carved acanthus leaf<br />
and basket, turned columns, acanthus leaf and carved hairy paw feet, solid brass lions head ring pulls,<br />
48"w 50"t 21"d. Good old finish, piece of veneer missing on crossbanded inlay top drawer.<br />
Hard to find Victorian brass Hitchcock patent lamp, wind up fan mechanism for draft to burner,<br />
advertised in 18 to burn fourteen hours from one tank, 13"t. Good old patina, 1" dent on tank, working<br />
wind up mechanism, this lamp is duscussed/photographed in Oil Lamps, Thuro, page 69/70, G Jones &<br />
R. Hitchcock in 1868.<br />
Exceptional 1830 Empire box sofa, fine flame mahogany, matched flame and rosewood crossbanded<br />
arch back with scroll crest, finely carved rosette and cornucopia scroll above large roll arms, deep<br />
double shell carved front above inset panel with satinwood line inlay molding, ovolo skirt, scroll<br />
acanthus leaf carved legs with paw feet, turned rear legs, 88"l 37"t 25"d. Good original finish/<br />
