Fine mid 1800 Rococo Victorian dresser, rosewood, white marble top, in manner of J & J W Meeks,
four drawers, satinwood lined upper drawer and cabinets, scroll carved molding, spiral turned knobs,
canted corners with turned columns and leaf carved brackets, bold astragal molding, deep cove and
ripple molded mirror sets between cabinets with reticulated/arabesque panels, spiral turnings on canted
corners, ripple molding, 71"t 47"w 24"d. Good old finish, scroll carving missing on drawer, one
escutcheon damaged, originally had mirror crest.
Fine brilliant cut glass bowl, 9" diameter, twenty four point hobstars with cane panels alternating with
feather leaf and flower, 9" diameter 4 1/2"t. Excellent clear glass, some small nicks.
Mid 1800 Rococo Victorian cheval mirror, solid and fiddleback mahogany, arched mirror, large spiral
turned columns with large finials, ogee shaped base with scroll carved legs, porcelain castors, paneled
mahogany back, 69"t 34"w 23"d. Original finish/condition, veneer missing around banded mirror
edge, faded silvering on original mercury mirror.
Beautiful brilliant cut glass shallow bowl, 10" diameter, signed J Hoare & Co., Corning, 1853, six
twenty four point hobstars in vessicas, Harvard and cane panels, 2 1/2"t. Good condition.
Great 1870 Rococo Victorian high back bed, solid walnut, queen size, 88"t double panel head board,
two foot high scroll and leaf carved crest, scroll molded headboard post, leaf carved finials, 70"w
overall 34"t arched footboard, leaf carving on incised bowed ends, scrolled leaf carving on molded
oval panel, 82"l overall, inside 63"w 78"l. Good original finish and condition. Note: Photo previously
shown here is actually Lot 196
Brilliant cut glass bowl, signed S in wreath-Sinclaire, 8" diameter, thirteen various size hobstars in
vessica panels, 3 1/2"t. One tooth flake.
1870 Renaissance Victorian step down dresser, solid walnut, burl walnut panels, brown marble tops,
unusual two accessory drawers in center of double drawers over one drawer and skirt drawer, shell
carving and burl panels around mirror, large shell carved and panel medallion crest with scroll
carvings, heavy cast brass ring pulls, 7' 10"t 47"w 20"d. Dark original finish/condition.
Late 1800 Victorian piano lamp, nickeled cast iron finish, fancy two tiered base with leaf garland
motif, garlands on turned legs continuing into reticulated bases with knights head and paw feet,
adjustable height, reticulated font with cherub and floral motif, grape cluster cut and frosted ball shade,
Bradley & Hubbard fill cap, 17" square 62"t adjusts to 80"t. Original worn finish.
