The new year often means broken resolutions
and expensive gym memberships draining
your funds. Why not try your local council-run
leisure centre as a cheaper alternative?
Merton has three leisure centres in
Mitcham, Morden and Wimbledon and each
has ‘Wellness’ and ‘Pay and Play’ membership
options starting from under £40 per month.
There are also special rates for over 55s and
discounts for partners when joining together.
Children can swim for £1 in all leisure
centres. Non-members are also welcome
and can just turn up and pay as they go.
