MISCELLANEOUS RATES AND SURCHARGES<br />

1 Keeping going, extra pushing to berth (in connection with an assistance): 550 per hour<br />
2 Waiting (first half hour free <strong>and</strong> minimal one half hour): 450 per hour<br />
For shifting <strong>of</strong> ships within the <strong>Rotterdam</strong> or Europoort area 35% surcharge on the respective area rate is applicable.<br />
For shifting from the <strong>Rotterdam</strong> area to the Europoort area or v.v., special arrangements have to be made.<br />
3 25% surcharge on holidays <strong>of</strong>ficially recognized in the port <strong>of</strong> <strong>Rotterdam</strong> from 17:00 o’clock the day before<br />
till 07:00 o’clock the day after such holiday.<br />
4 Assistance <strong>of</strong> dead ships 50% surcharge on all rates (waiting, surcharges for holiday work <strong>and</strong> fog excluded).<br />
5 Cancellation: If arrival, departure or shifting is cancelled or postponed without notice being given at least one hour<br />
before the services are due to commence <strong>and</strong>/or tug(s) is (are) dismissed without being used: half <strong>of</strong> the tariff will<br />
be charged.<br />
6 In case <strong>of</strong> a visibility <strong>of</strong> less than 500 meters an additional charge <strong>of</strong> 50% for assistance during fog will be applicable<br />
on all rates (waiting <strong>and</strong> holiday surcharge excluded).<br />

• For assistance outside above mentioned areas, special arrangements have to be made.<br />
• All rates published in this tariff (fog <strong>and</strong> holiday surcharges excluded) are subject to prevailing bunker surcharge.<br />
• The above rates will not apply in case <strong>of</strong> drift-ice, vessels broken loose from their moorings <strong>and</strong> other unforeseen circumstances.<br />
• Rates: per tug.<br />
• Payment within 30 days.<br />
• Discounts available for long term contracts.<br />
• No surcharges for weekends, night work <strong>and</strong> use <strong>of</strong> tug’s hawsers.<br />
