This grid is calibrated to fit around a paper towel tube (ptt). I use a ptt rather than<br />

a toilet paper tube as I like to have something to hold onto ~ I find it easier. Stuff the ptt<br />

with old newspaper to lend more rigidity and to provide greater hold for the push pins.<br />

Wrapping the ptt in clear packing tape will extend the life of the mandrel.<br />

Depending on the knot chosen, cord diameter and intended number of passes, you may<br />

need to have a greater/lesser distance between bight boundaries. Your Mileage May Vary...<br />
