Electrical connection and testing
Danger!
Cables must not be left lying in the maintenance walkways.
Combine loose cables together (e.g. using a corrugated tube or in the cable
duct).
Please note
Ideally, leave one cable-free low bead free as a maintenance walkway.
Danger!
Work on photovoltaic installations requires specialised knowledge and
experience, and may only be performed by adequately qualified, authorised
personnel. Please observe the safety advice and warnings in the section
“Safety information and regulations”, and ensure compliance.
Danger!
Modules are always live in daylight. When separating contacts or test prods
under load, non-extinguishing arcs may form.
Danger!
Insulate the free ends of each string cable connected to the inverter
(protection against accidental contact with all live parts).
Please note
Always first install, connect and then check one row / column of modules
before installing the next.
Connect each row / column of modules electrically in accordance with the
connection diagram using the prefabricated plug contacts.
