Objectives<br />

Several objectives were identified for consideration during the<br />

investigation into the operation <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Fire</strong> <strong>Boss</strong> in the event it<br />

was positioned or considered for operational use in Victoria.<br />

Observe and asses the operational performance<br />

and associated operations to determine the<br />

suitability <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Fire</strong> <strong>Boss</strong> to operate in the<br />

forested areas <strong>of</strong> Victoria.<br />

Make an assessment in relation to the capability<br />

<strong>of</strong> the <strong>Fire</strong> <strong>Boss</strong> and determine if it has the<br />

potential to <strong>of</strong>fer operational capabilities Victoria<br />

currently does not possess.<br />

Investigate and determine if there are any<br />

regulatory limitations or operational factors<br />

limiting the use <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Fire</strong> <strong>Boss</strong> may affect the<br />

capabilities <strong>of</strong> the <strong>air</strong>craft operating in Victoria.<br />
