Multiple Dwelling Units (MDU)<br />
To provide for a variety of MDU scenarios, <strong>Emtelle</strong> offers three solutions: Shared Microduct Routing, Direct Microduct Routing and Rapid<br />
Fit Installation. The fi rst two solutions are ideal for use in modern high-rise applications. With Shared Routing, fi bre is led up to each<br />
level, and then split to each customer connection point via a splicing unit. With Direct<br />
Routing, fi bre is routed straight to each customer connection<br />
point. With this combination of solutions available, investors<br />
in the network can be sure that precisely the right<br />
technology is being deployed for their particular building.<br />
Rapid Fit Installation is ideally suited for smaller,<br />
typically less modern, MDUs. Here, a Fixed Fibre Drop<br />
or an Upgradeable Fibre Drop is plugged onto<br />
the customer’s existing equipment. This<br />
procedure can be fi nished very<br />
quickly and with minimum<br />
disruption to the customer<br />
premises, ensuring that<br />
high-speed access can be<br />
made available literally<br />
at a snap.<br />
