near the top of the drape. The strings on the tape are 

pulled to form a neat row of single pleats. great for

Tribeca Heavy duty Track . Available in three sizes and 

expand to suit the size of your window. Use either 

nylon or steel gather hooks. 

Pinch Pleat:

Measure your window 

Remember to measure your window for both width and 

drop. Curtain rods and tracks are usually fixed above the 

window frame so measure from the top of the rod to the 

floor. Consider whether you want your curtains to close 

completely or just hang as decorative drapes. 

get the right accessories 

depending on your curtain type, you may need a cord or 

hand drawn track, or a curtain rod. Choose the style that 

best suits your room and the curtains. Consider tiebacks 

for decorative effect or pair with a roller blind or sheer

Consider: 

• Do you want your curtains or blinds to sit inside 

the window recess or outside? 

• Do you want your coverings to skim the 

windowsill, fall to the floor or hang extra-long 

and luxurious? 

• Do you want your curtains to cover the window 

completely or hang as decorative drapes? 

• Do you want to combine your curtain or blind 

with a sheer curtain for extra privacy and a 

delicate touch? 

Choose your header type: 

depending on your header style, a track or pole 

may be required. These are generally fixed to the 

outside of the window, above the architrave. 

Measure from just above the top of the track or 

pole to make sure you have the right length. 

Blinds often look better fitted to the inside of the 

window recess. 

When combining two window coverings 

(ie: a curtain and a blind), ensure that you allow 

enough clearance between them to move easily.
