What you’ll need:
• ‘Moda Vera’ FISHNET FEVER 100g balls
for desired length
• 1 pair 5.00mm knitting needles
• Scissors, yarn needle, tape measure

Working With FiShnet FeVer yarn
• FISHNET FEVER is not knitted in the
traditional way. The full width of yarn is
not carried around the needle; instead the
knitting needle is inserted through the top of
the yarn and then taken through the stitch,
at intervals of approximately 2.5cm. Larger
intervals will create more ruffles, smaller
intervals will be flatter.
• FISHNET FEVER will fray if the ends are
not sealed before you commence. This can
be done by folding the edge over twice and
sewing either by hand or machine.

CaSting on
Cast on 14 stitches as follows:
Uncurl the yarn and with the curl side facing,
insert the needle from back to front at the top of
the yarn, approx 3-5mm down from the top.
Insert the needle again from back to front,
3-5mm down from the top, and approx 2.5cm
along. Repeat until you have 14 stitches on the
needle. Turn your work.
Row 1: Insert the needle into the first stitch.
Keeping the yarn flat, carry yarn behind the
needle and insert, 3-5mm down. Bring the yarn
through the stitch. Repeat across the remaining
13 stitches, each time inserting the needle
approx 2.5mm along the top.
Repeat Row 1 for the required length of the
scarf.
Note: For joins, secure ends as above and
simply start the new ball when the last stitch is
worked with the first ball.
CaSting oFF
Leave a length of about 24cm. Work each stitch
as above and cast off as normal, by knitting 2
stitches, then taking the previous stitch over
the last stitch worked. Repeat to the end. Take
the remaining full width end through the stitch.
Secure by hand sewing.
