Candidate Training
Conferences
Interested in running
for Lieutenant Governor
or District Office?
Make sure to attend the annual Candidate Training
Conferences (CTC)! Here, you will get a better idea of
the duties of the office you’re interested in as well as
prepare for the real election. Preparation ranges from
asking questions to the current officers to answering
questions in a mock caucus to giving a short speech.
This one-day training is a great deciding factor in
determining whether you want to become a
candidate or not, so take the opportunity while you
can! The Lt. Governor Conference will be held on
December 1st, 2012 and the District Officer
Conference will be held on January 12th, 2013. These
are not mandatory events for candidates but are
highly recommended and helpful.
On top of all the training that will take place, you’ll
have the chance to meet a number of potential
candidates in your area! With them, you can share
your reasons for being interested, ideas to prepare for
elections, and general thoughts about the whole
thing.
Do you hear that ringing in your ear? That’s an alarm
telling you that you should attend Candidate Training
Conference! So, what are you waiting for? Head on
over to the CNH CyberKey for more information on
the conferences. Stay posted for updates on time,
locations, and registration.
