We will include your order in our next South African<br />
shipment (we send air and sea containers several times a<br />
year) and deliver it to you personally at one of our<br />
upcoming events. Alternatively we can make arrangements<br />
to deliver it to you within South Africa by courier. You can<br />
pay us by credit card or by personal check made payable<br />
to <strong>Pascoe</strong> <strong>Ceramics</strong>.<br />

Welcome<br />
We have a busy schedule of events lined up in<br />
South Africa over the next few months and look<br />
forward to <strong>see</strong>ing many of you again soon. From<br />
October 15-17, we will be presenting a <strong>Pascoe</strong><br />
<strong>Ceramics</strong> Weekend at the Southern Sun, Grayston. We<br />
are planning an extensive exhibition of Royal Doulton<br />
and Moorcroft so please let us know if t<strong>here</strong> are any<br />
specific pieces that you would like to <strong>see</strong> t<strong>here</strong>. No<br />
doubt you will be inspired by the articles in <strong>this</strong> <strong>issue</strong><br />
of Connoisseur so call us toll-free now and the pieces of interest can be included in our<br />
next South African shipment.<br />
Louise Irvine, the British ceramics expert, will be flying out from London to be our guest<br />
of honor in October and will be hosting several social and informative programs for<br />
Doulton and Moorcroft collectors during the weekend. (See pages 13 and 32) Louise<br />
writes all the articles in our Connoisseur magazine and has a wealth of knowledge about<br />
ceramic art so don’t miss <strong>this</strong> opportunity to hear her speak and take part in our new<br />
‘Stump the Expert!’ challenge.<br />
Our collectors’ dinner party on Saturday evening is always a fun event and <strong>this</strong> year we<br />
will be celebrating South Africa’s World Cup success with a Doulton sporting theme. I<br />
was fortunate enough to attend some of the soccer final matches before the NAADA Fair<br />
in July and had a wonderful time.<br />
On October 23rd and 24th, we will be organizing an event in Pretoria for the first time.<br />
As well as our selling exhibition of Royal Doulton and Moorcroft, we will be featuring<br />
estate jewelry, silver and other small antiques, courtesy of Christiaan and Sonia Scholtz<br />
from Die Ossewa. We will also be running a valuations clinic throughout the weekend<br />
in ‘antiques roadshow’ style.<br />
Die Ossewa Antiques shop in Melville will be the venue for our ‘Holidays’ event from<br />
November 19-21 when we invite you to do your Christmas shopping for Royal Doulton<br />
and Moorcroft among other fine antiques and furniture. Our very own Moorcroft expert,<br />
<strong>To</strong>m Munro, will be your host for <strong>this</strong> event and he is looking forward to meeting all his<br />
South African friends that weekend.<br />
