Doulton’s earliest art ware featured stag and fox hunts with relief<br />
figures riding riding to hounds. Made in salt-gla salt-glaze stoneware, these hunting<br />
design designs ns were wer produced at the Lambeth<br />
Potte Pottery ry for over a century from the<br />
1840 1840s until the 1950s and are<br />
popu popular collectibles today.<br />

This T hu hunting cry signifies that the fox has been <strong>see</strong>n in the open. Foxes<br />
in all<br />
shapes, sizes and colorways have featured in the HN collection<br />
since the earliest years and some are as elusive as the animals<br />
themselves, them defying collectors on the hunt. The wily fox is also the<br />
hero in the Master of Foxhounds jug, w<strong>here</strong> he cunningly hides from<br />
the t ho hounds, dressed in hunting pink. The HN collection also features<br />
horses, horsses,<br />
hares ha and hunting hounds with their quarry, including spaniels and<br />
