VALUABLE VELLUM<br />

The earliest Burslem studio artists worked on an ivory porcelain ain<br />

body known as Vellum and enriched the satin finish with th<br />

brushed gold. Charles Noke was familiar with <strong>this</strong> style of<br />

decoration from his days at the Worcester W factory and he<br />

blend blending of various colors, which<br />

talente talented Burslem artists were able to<br />
