Class of 1982 Profiles (Continued)<br />
Wendy Wong Yu is married with one child and a fulltime<br />
housewife and mother.<br />
natalie Coyle Pires writes that she is “married with 3<br />
lovely children 20, 15, 13. We spend a lot of time together<br />
via traveling or simply eating out meals together.” She is<br />
a registered nurse, working in the town of Falmouth as a<br />
case manager for the VNA of Cape Cod. According to her,<br />
“I feel fortunate to have such a wonderful job. Still after 14<br />
years I love my job!” Her hobbies include scrap booking,<br />
reading, cooking; and her favorite memory from <strong>Spellman</strong><br />
is “every weekend at my house spending time with my<br />
friends and my mom. Love You Guys.” “Remember- Love<br />
one another Enjoy every moment, live is unpredictable.”<br />
michael mahanna is married with 2 daughters ages 7<br />
and 11. He is a fulltime Driver for UPS where he has<br />
been employed for 10 years. His hobbies include fishing,<br />
golfing and going to NASCAR races. His favorite memory<br />
of <strong>Spellman</strong> is “hanging out with Rich Bausemer and<br />
Tom Flynn, my best friends.” Also, he wanted everyone<br />
to know “I am smarter than Bill Pelton.”<br />
edward J Gavin Jr. is single with no children and a<br />
firefighter/paramedic for Halifax MA. He enjoys staying<br />
active and asks: “Has it really been 25 years?”<br />
As of 9/12/07, Cheryl Colocousis Januskis and her<br />
husband, Steven will be married 20 years. They have a<br />
daughter, Julie 11 and a son, Josh, 6. She is a retired probation<br />
officer from Plymouth County and is presently at home<br />
with the children. Her hobbies include cooking, working<br />
out, yoga and running. Her favorite <strong>Spellman</strong> memory is<br />
“Time spent with friends Meg Maur’s Cape house”.<br />
robert desrosier is married with 3 children and a union<br />
member in Graphic Communications Intl. Local 3n.<br />
Fr. Paul ring is the youngest of five, living in North<br />
Brockton for 10 years before moving to Framingham. He<br />
was ordained to Priesthood for the Archdiocese of Boston<br />
in 1995 and has served in North Reading, Weymouth<br />
and Dorchester before becoming Pastor in Groton and<br />
Pepperell in 2007. His hobbies include running, movies<br />
and traveling. He writes that his favorite memory from<br />
<strong>Spellman</strong> is “Mass: It’s what led me to consider vocation<br />
to the Priesthood. (Thanks, Fr. McLaughlin!)” According<br />
to Fr. Paul, “I still get back to <strong>Spellman</strong> as often as<br />
possible (celebrate Mass for the Sisters every<br />
Tuesday.) Live with my dog Oscar 2, a nine<br />
year old Miniature Schaduter”<br />
michelle dePina montrond lives in Abington,<br />
MA and is married with 3 children, Michael age<br />
19, attending Suffolk University, Vanessa, age<br />
17, attending Abington <strong>High</strong>, and Jordan, age<br />
13 attending Frolio Jr. <strong>High</strong>. She writes: “I’m<br />
a mortgage broker. Lots of great memories of<br />
<strong>Spellman</strong> for me but I cannot choose a favorite.<br />
Looking forward to our 25th. This will be the<br />
first reunion I’ve attended. Can’t wait.”<br />
kathleen kearney rocuant has been<br />
married for 13 years to Paul and they have<br />
two children, Rebecca 10, Ryan 8. They<br />
moved to South West Florida in 1994 and<br />
they love the warm weather and the kids<br />
playing outside yearlong! She is an audiologist<br />
and has been with the same practice since she<br />
moved to Florida. She received her doctorate<br />
degree in 2001 and enjoys boating, frequent<br />
Orlando trips and Tae Kwon Do. She fondly<br />
remembers skiing in New Hampshire, hiking<br />
at the Quabbin with Ecology Club and<br />
“meeting some of the best friends of my life.”<br />
Phyllis Capece Bowie has been married for 19<br />
years to her husband, Bob. They have 3 children:<br />
Christopher is 18, Danielle is almost 17 and Joe<br />
is 14. Chris is heading to college in the fall and<br />
according to Phyllis it is “hard to believe that 25<br />
years ago our class was doing the same!” She<br />
has been in education for almost 9 years now<br />
and is currently secretary to the Athletic Director<br />
at Carver <strong>High</strong> <strong>School</strong>. When not at work,<br />
she loves the beach, tennis, reading, music, and<br />
being with family and friends. Her fondest high<br />
school memory: “Went to my first concert, Bob<br />
Seger, in my junior year with <strong>Spellman</strong> friends.<br />
This past January, went to see him again in Boston<br />
with Kari Condon, Ellen Kenney and Kathy<br />
Pitts. We had a great time again!!!!”<br />
