Pharmaco dynamic action: stomachic, antispasmodic, prevents<br />

vomiting, carminative, slightly analgesic, choleretic, cholagogue, ant<br />

diarrheal, astringent, volatile oil <strong>and</strong> its components have spasmolytic<br />

action, decongestant, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, expectorant,<br />

stimulates uterine contraction, diuretic, perspiration, blood cleanser,<br />

tonic, refreshing.<br />

Indications: dyspepsia, biliary dyskinesia, flatulence, entero-colitis,<br />

diarrhea, asthma, bronchitis, laryngitis, pharyngitis, colds, flu,<br />

fatigue.<br />

Contraindications <strong>and</strong> side effects: tones the nervous system <strong>and</strong> can<br />

give insomnia, not recommend the use of preparations containing<br />

peppermint oil on face <strong>and</strong> in the nasal passages of small children<br />

because it can lead to spasms of the tongue or off breathing, is not<br />

recommended in gastric, biliary obstruction <strong>and</strong> inflammation in the<br />

gallbladder, no adverse effects known in pregnancy.<br />
