Female: Length 2.9-3.1 mm., 2.6 times as long as wide; color very dark brown .<br />

Frons weakly convex, surface reticulate and sparsely punctured; vestiture inconspicuous.<br />

Eye less than half divided by an emargination, rather finely granulate.<br />

Pronotum equal in length and width, appearing subquadrate; sides and anterior margin<br />

rather weakly arcuate; anterior margin unarmed; summit at center; anterior area rather<br />

finely asperate, asperities extending to basal one-third at sides; posterior area reticulate,<br />

sparse punctures minute; vestiture inconspicuous .<br />

Elytra 1.5 times as long as wide, 1.6 times as long as pronotum; sides straight and<br />

subparallel on basal two-thirds, rather broadly rounded behind; striae not impressed, punc-<br />

tures rather small, shallow, close; interstriae about twice as wide as striae , punctures fine,<br />

minutely granulate, about half as numerous as those of striae. Declivity (fig. 11, a) rather<br />

steep, convex but somewhat flattened on lower half; lateral margin from interspace 7 to<br />

elytral apex rather strongly elevated, but not sharply carinate; sutural interspace feebly<br />

elevated toward apex, not noticeably constricted apically by curvature of sutural striae;<br />

interstrial granules somewhat larger than on disc. Vestiture consisting of rows of minute<br />

strial hair, and rows of erect , rather long, interstrial hair , somewhat longer and coarser<br />

on declivity.<br />

Male: Not represented in material at hand.<br />
