My research interests fall into three primary areas: 1) surgical infection,
namely clinical investigations of new anti-infective agents; 2) prehospital
emergency care, especially the out-of-hospital management of severe trauma;
and 3) surgical critical care, primarily hemodynamic management and care of
victims of severe traumatic brain injury.
