W Chile występują tylko dwa typy roczników. Jedne tworzy El Nińo
a drugie La Nińa. Te potężne zjawiska dają winom odmienny charakter, dzięki czemu
raz są konfiturowo dojrzałe, innym razem zaś bardziej krępe i taninowe.
In Chile there are only two types of vintages. One is created by El Nińo and the other La
Nińa. These weather phenomena give wines a distinct character, making them at times
mature and jam-like, other times more stocky and tannin-heavy.

San Jose Merlot Varietal

San Jose de Apalta to rodzinna posiadłość, która działa w Chile od 1970 roku, a więc od
początku wielkiego winiarskiego boomu. Powstające wina wychodzą spod ręki francuskiego
winemakera i starzone są wyłącznie w francuskim dębie. Harmonia i elegancja
jest tym co odróżnia San Jose od morza zwykłych chilijskich win. Merlot Varietal urzeka
bujnym bukietem z aromatem kawy Mocca, jeżyn i przypraw. W ustach jest pełne,
z dotykiem wiśni, truskawek, aksamitną taniną i miękkim finałem.
San Jose de Apalta is a family winery which has operated in Chile since 1970 – the
beginning of the wine boom in that country. The wines are crafted by a French winemaker
and aged exclusively in French oak. Harmony and elegance are the characteristics
which distinguish San Jose amongst a sea of regular Chilean wines. This Merlot
Varietal charms with its heady bouquet of mocha, blackberries and spices. It is full on
the palate, with notes of sour cherry, strawberry, smooth tannins and a soft finish.

The quiver tree is a unique native tree of South Africa. The Stellenbosch wine region
is equally unique, and is the most widely recognised wine region on the African
continent. The granite bedrock of the vineyards gives wines from this region a
mysterious “rocky” character.
Quiver Tree Chardonnay
białe, wytrawne / white, dry
Tradycyjne białe Sauvignon z nutką grejpfruta i cytryny, lekkie i świeże. Cytrusowy
bukiet z nutami migdałów, palonego dębu, brzoskwiń i grejpfruta. W ustach dominuje
pikantny smak Chardonnay, wzbogacony o akcenty wanilii. Strukturę i gładkość
zawdzięcza trzymiesięcznemu starzeniu we francuskim dębie i dojrzewaniu na osadzie.
A citrusy bouquet with notes of almond, smoky oak, peach and grapefruit. The spicy
taste of Chardonnay dominates the palate, enriched with vanilla accents. The wine’s
structure and smoothness is guaranteed by three month aging in French oak barrels
and maturity with sediment.
Quiver Tree Pinotage

Oferuje zapachy przypraw, czekolady i gotowanych owoców. W ustach dymne, miękkie,
z nutą lukrecji i dojrzałych śliwek, z typowymi dzikimi akcentami Pinotage i gładkim
finiszem. Bardzo uniwersalne w łączeniu z potrawami kuchni fusion.
This wine has distinctive aromas of spices, chocolate and stewed fruit. Smoky
on the palate, soft, with notes of liquorice and ripe plums, typical wild Pinotage
accents and a smooth finish. Very versatile and a good match with fusion cuisine.
