The soil in Pessac Leognan is a sterile mix of gravel and large rocks. For hundreds
of years considered land useless for farming, grapevines quickly transformed the area
and created an extraordinary wine with a beautiful appearance, solid build and delicate
flavours. This wine is a prime example of the saying that the more a grapevine suffers,
the better the wine it gives.
AC Pessac Leognan is a wine with an enormous bouquet, with accents of cocoa ripe fruit.

The Marsan estate is an upstart amongst the chateaus in Bordeaux. Its owners set
out to show that French wine does not have to be tart, sour and tannin-heavy. Thanks
to modern wine making methods these wines are attractive, young, vibrant and full of
French finesse. Chateau classic with the scent of raspberries and blackberries. Very
fruity with light tannins. A traditional Chateau with raspberry and blckberry flavour.

This wine was created in honour of the founders of the vineyard, and is inspired by the
owner’s daughter’s memories of her childhood games amongst the old, gnarled trees
of the white Garnatxa. Juicy, with a shimmering colour and intensive taste, the wine
is born in the Terra Alta zone – a rising star of Spanish wine-making.
