The Kildonan Castle left Southampton yesterday with 52 officers, 1 warrant officer and 1658<br />
men for South Africa. The ship will stop at Queenstown for an additional 22 officers and 951<br />
men. The officers listed from Southampton are:<br />
Lt-Col C. N. Miles 1/Life Guards, commanding.<br />
1/Welsh Fusiliers- Maj H.T. Lyle, DSO, and Lt F.C.R. Price and 100 men.<br />
2/Duke of Cornwall’s L.I.- Maj R.J. Wilbraham, Capt W.F.Tremayne, Lt E.B. Ward and 100<br />
men……<br />
The Nubia arrived at Southampton on Tuesday (24/7/00) evening with sick and wounded<br />
and landed them yesterday morning. Those listed included:<br />
Returning home, Remount Dept. Capt W.F.Tremayne.<br />
The Tantallon Castle left for England Nov 8. The following were listed on the passage home:<br />
