Walk Alissa Lovett of Edmond, Oklahoma chose
to step out of her comfort zone and pursue
her dreams with an Arbonne business. She
drove her son home from the hospital in a Mercedes-
Benz, and is living the life of her dreams!
Just three and a half years ago, at the age of 22, I had no idea I would
be making a decision that would dramatically change the way my life
would look forever. As a recent college graduate and nanny, I felt stuck.
I had never had any ambition to have a successful business career, have
an office or go to corporate meetings, but I knew there was more to life
than what I was living.
I was offered the wonderful gift of Arbonne while on the job, by the new
neighbor of the family I worked for. New NVP Carrie MacDonald painted
a very clear picture of where she was going with Arbonne and where she
could help me go. An introvert at heart, I didn’t really know if it would
be a fit for me, but I was strongly encouraged by my fiancé to jump in.
As I launched my Arbonne business, I also got married and was in
the process of landing a Special Education job at the new elementary
school in town. After a year of working my Arbonne business part-time
“I thought to myself, ‘Why stop now?’”
alongside my full-time teaching job, I was able to replace my teaching
income! My husband, Jeff and I found out a month later that we were
expecting our first baby, so we decided that quitting my teaching job
and focusing more on Arbonne was the best choice for our family. We
set a goal for me to earn my white Mercedes-Benz and drive Cale home
from the hospital in style! After six months and lots of hard work, we
were able to promote to Region, earning my car in June of 2010, and
our Cale was born the very next month. I was also fortunate enough
to promote-out my first business builder and RVP, Sara Keener, on the
very same day!
At a time of great transition, I remember having a conversation with my
incredible sponsor, Carrie. She strongly encouraged me to keep going,
to push for Nation and to not stay “satisfied,” because there were a lot

more people who needed my help. I remember thinking back over the
hard work and time I had put into going Region, and I thought to myself,
“Why stop now?” I took her up on her advice and, boy, am I grateful she
chose to have that talk with me!
The year 2011 has been a huge year of growth for our team. In June,
another leader stepped up to the plate and I was able to help promote
Rachel Dean to Region, then just four months later, I was able to help
Ashley Myers promote to Region on the very same day we promoted
to Nation!
Arbonne is a people-helping business. I look around at all the wonderful
women and men in this company who have seen success, and there is
one common denominator: a servant heart and a passion to help others!

want you to take a good hard look at your life and instead of thinking,
“What if it doesn’t work for me?” I want you to think, “What if it does?”
We have a system for success that is proven to work, if you work it! We
teach and train you to see any amount of success you want to see! You
have absolutely nothing to lose and everything to gain!
I would not be where I am today without the help of so many others…

To my incredible husband, Jeff: Thank you for nudging me to dream.
Thank you for believing in me every step of the way. Thank you for
encouraging me, praying for my business and taking the time to be
involved in this journey. Thank you for seeing the big picture when others
couldn’t. Thank you for being the best daddy to our sweet Cale. I would
not be here today without your behind-the-scenes work.
To my little man, Cale: You are the biggest blessing to me and I am
so grateful that you have and always will belong in an Arbonne home.

Mommy made sacrifices and has worked really hard while you were
very little so I don’t have to make sacrifices later. You have caused me
to find a love in my heart that I have never felt before. God designed you
for greatness and I pray that you, too, are a “dreamer.”
To my parents: Thank you for teaching me how to work hard. Without
the work ethic you instilled in me as a young lady, I would not be where
I am today. Thank you for raising me in a loving home and always supporting
me.
To my upline: ENVP Carrie MacDonald, thank you for not pre-judging me
and for seeing more in me than I saw in myself. Thank you for always
pushing me to be a better me! I will be forever grateful for your courage!
ENVP Connie Kaaiohelo, you are an amazing leader and I thank you
for investing the time in Carrie so that she could then invest the time in
me! ENVP Deanna Herrin, thank you for investing time in me and helping
me grow into a leader. Thank you for your uplifting spirit and your
unshakeable belief. ENVP Cecilia Stoll, thank you for blazing the path!
You are such a blessing to so many and I thank you for your loyalty not
only to Arbonne, but also to its culture.
To my direct Regional Vice Presidents: You three are such amazing leaders
with such drastic dynamics, which makes for a very well-rounded
VP team. Each of you has blessed me more than you will ever know. I
learn so much from you daily and I cherish my friendship with you all.
