fill or vent pipes, drum storage, or any other signs of adverse environmental conditions associated<br />
with the <strong>Nike</strong> <strong>Battery</strong> SF-<strong>31</strong> site was observed.<br />
USACE personnel also met and/or talked with County and Regional Park District staff familiar<br />
with the property. Don Goodnew, EBRPD Administrator, indicated that he had not observed any<br />
evidence of FUDS-associated contamination at the launch and administration site, and that<br />
previous USACE inspections had also not identified any FUDS-associated contamination.<br />
Alameda County has indicated that they are not aware of any FUDS-associated contamination at<br />
the control site.<br />
6. RECOMMENDATION:<br />
The Property known as <strong>Nike</strong> <strong>Battery</strong> SF-<strong>31</strong>, Project Number J09CA0110301<br />
(Containerized/HTRW) is recommended <strong>for</strong> No Department of Defense Action indicated<br />
(<strong>NDAI</strong>). In addition, the FUDS Property itself is also recommended <strong>for</strong> <strong>NDAI</strong>.<br />
