3-5 cm long; silky beneath.
Tiny white-cream colored flowers occur in a
composite head 2-3 cm across. The heads are
surrounded by silky leaves.
Achenes brown or black, 3 mm long,
setuliferous near apex; pappus a minute
crown, pubescent.
Subcylinderic, truncate at apex, reddish
brown.
