emphasize conversations, as much of the class is in French.<br />

We’ll work on more advanced grammar and sentence<br />

structures, including one or more of the following tenses:<br />

imperfect, conditional, and subjunctive. Tuition includes<br />

Blackboard, an online language resource center. There will<br />

be an additional $30 fee for the custom textbook upon<br />

This course is for people who wish to discuss—en<br />

français, biensûr—French arts, French living, French-<br />

American relations, the influence of France in the world,<br />

and other themes centered around the French language<br />

and culture. Together we will emphasize oral comprehension<br />

and expression. You will learn more complex ways<br />

to converse in French. New topics will be introduced each<br />

semester. Tuition includes Blackboard, an online language<br />
