Gade has made a passable showing as a<br />

fill-in for Fleming's fudough, ' even getting<br />

fat and sassy .. Bob Alberts is<br />

filling in for Russ Genaze .. Wel<strong>com</strong>e<br />

aboard, Bill McNamara, a fine young man<br />

from Canaryville ... We are planning<br />

an Octoberfest and Bratwurst eating contest<br />

really booming when Williams reached<br />

Mexico, Glover relaxed in the Banamas<br />

and Godbolt toured in Colorado. Capt.<br />

Parker, Sgt. Brown, Ptlmn. Coughlin, Sea·<br />

graves, Ephraim and Evonson have returned<br />

from their furloughs. Ptlmn.<br />

McNicholas spent his furlough between<br />

his luxurious villa and the country club in<br />

Lake Geneva, including idle moments at<br />

the Playboy Club ... Condolences to the<br />

family of Merriweather and Maciuszek.<br />

Condolences also to Ptlmn. Trunzo and<br />

Jr. Clerk Alesky ... The following are<br />

looking forw.ard to their vacation: Danta,<br />
