Dear Sir:
Officer Arthur J. Kimber, 3rd
Dear Sir:
We're back to the farmland of
South Dakota and w.anted to write you
about the pleasant memories we
brought back of Chicago from the dairy
convention there.
Our special thanks to Technician
Carl Chatman of the Criminalistic
Division Mobile Crime Unit for taking
the time to give "tlS two couples
such an interesting tour through the
Chicago Police Department. We also
Dear Sir:
We are both handicapped and recently,
while walking around Buckingham
Fountain, the rain started coming
down. After what seemed like hours,
two officers, Ptlmn. Thomas Hogan
and John W. Cole, 7st (Centra/) District,
stopped, picked us up and took
us to the "Y".
They saw to it that we got a room
and got dried and that everything was
under control before they left. Thanks
again to these two wonderful men.
Sincerely,
Two Grateful Citizens
Dear Supt. Conlisk:
In addition to all the courtesies and
kindnesses extended to me by the Chicago
Police Department since the death
of my husband, I want especially to
make note of the very fine services
so courteously rendered by Sgt. Clarence
G. Erickson, Public and Internal
Information Division.
His promptness in contacting me
and availing himself and staff of the
services of his office in assisting with
the administrative details necessary to
settle matters were all deeply appreciated.
Sincerely Yours,
L.c.
Dear Supt. Conlisk:
For almost four years Inv. William
J. Rooney, Criminal Investigation
Division, Area 4, has been our security
guard. During that time he has
become a friend of teachers and students.
All of us like and appreciate his
services very much. He has been excellent
in both emergency and day-today
problems. He relates well with
students in a group and individually.
We are most fortunate to have him
assigned to our school.
Very truly yours,
