Fuel Filler Cap
locking cap for hood with flap (Figure 28),
non-locking cap for hood without flap (Figure 29)
must be correct cap for hood type,
A. Locking Cap (keyed with same key as door key)
must have original lock as identified by correct operation with door key,
must be in original condition without damage, or stains,
must be clean with no dirt/dust, or debris,

B. Non-locking Cap
must be in original condition without damage, or stains,
must be clean with no dirt/dust, or debris,
Access Plugs (black) (Figure 29)
Small Plug
must be in original condition without damage, or stains,

Clutch Master Cylinder Access (Large Plug)
must be in original condition without damage, or stains,

Labels
“Unleaded Gasoline Only”
(“Essence Sans Plomb Seulement” must be French for DD17XXX VINs)
must have correct label for VIN (Figure 30),

“DOT 4” (must not be present on all automatic cars),
must be present on all manual cars (Figure 31),

7. Washer Bottle Cap
may be either white plastic or black metal for early VINs (Figure 32)
