Label “TO START ENGINE/TO OPEN DOOR” (Figure 10)
must be present,
must be in original condition without damage, or yellowing,
must be clean with no dirt, debris, or stains.
Headliner DoorsX2 , T-Panel, Rear Panel, and fabric on VisorsX2 13.
must all have matching fabric color, matching grain, consistent grain direction (if
noticeable grain), and correct color appropriate to interior (dark gray—black interior
car, light gray—gray interior car, either color is acceptable on 1983 models),
must all have well-attached fabric with no sagging on panels,
must all have no evident bowing of the headliner backer,
Driver-side Door
must be in original condition without damage, discoloration, excess glue, or excess
overlap of fabric around door weatherstripping in door opening area,
must be clean with no dirt, debris, or water stains,
Passenger-side Door
must be in original condition without damage, discoloration, excess glue, or excess
overlap of fabric around door weatherstripping in door opening area,
must be clean with no dirt, debris, or water stains,
T-Panel
must be in original condition without damage, discoloration, or excess glue,
must be clean with no dirt, debris, or water stains,
Rear
must be in original condition without damage, discoloration, or excess glue,
must be clean with no dirt, debris, or water stains,
Fabric Portion of Visor
Driver-side
must be in original condition without damage, discoloration, or excess glue,
must be clean with no dirt, debris, or water stains,
Passenger-side
must be in original condition without damage, discoloration, or excess glue,
must be clean with no dirt, debris, or water stains,
14. Storage Compartment (behind driver’s seat)
must be empty,
Lock (with black metal centering bezel around key hole, keyed with same key as
door/ignition -or- door key for 2-key system up to VIN 04187)
must be original as identified by correct operation with door key,
must be in original condition without damage,
must be clean with no dirt, or debris.
15. Interior Lighting
Front Dome Light (with black bezel)
must be original with black bezel,
must be in original condition without damage, or signs of wear, and lens must be
clear without discoloration,
must be clean with no dust/dirt, or debris,
