Passenger-side
must be in original condition without damage,
must be clean inside and out with no dirt, stains, or debris.
9. Front Fascia
must have correct paint finish for VIN
(glossy finish up to VIN 03599, matte finish from VIN 03600),
must be the same uniform correct color,
must be properly aligned with adjacent panels,
must be in original condition without damage, warps, or “raised eyebrows”,
must be clean with no dirt, debris, or water spots.
10. Grille
must be a uniform black color,
must be in original condition without damage, scratches, cracks, chips, or stains,
must be clean with no dirt, debris, excessive cleaning products, or water spots,
Emblem (all cars except 500-series VIN)
must be in place,
must have a uniform black background, “DMC” letters must be brushed finish, and
all edges must be a uniform color,
must be in original condition without damage, scratches, cracks, or chips,
must be clean with no dirt, debris, or water spots.
11. Air Dam
must fit properly,
must be in original condition without damage, scratches, cracks, chips, or stains,
must be clean with no dirt, debris, or water spots.
12. Rock Screen
must fit properly,
must be in original condition without damage, scratches, chips, stains, or rust,
must be clean with no dirt, debris, or insects.

Lighting (checking for LEDs are covered by “Operating Controls” judges)
Headlights
High-Beam (inner)
must both be Sylvania Sealed-Beam Halogen,
must both be in original condition without damage, scratches, or cracks,
must both be clean with no dirt, debris, or water spots, and both lenses must be
free of inside moisture,
Low-Beam (outer)
must both be Sylvania Sealed-Beam Halogen,
must both be in original condition without damage, scratches, or cracks,
must both be clean with no dirt, debris, or water spots, and both lenses must be
free of inside moisture,
Retainers (silver)
Driver-side
must both be in original condition without damage, scratches, or dents (including
screws—no damage or rust),
must both be clean with no dirt, debris, or water spots (including screws),
Passenger-side
must both be in original condition without damage, scratches, or dents (including
screws—no damage or rust),
