Locking carabiners
Am’D M34
D-shaped locking carabiner for attaching devices to the harness
The shape and size of this carabiner makes it great for most uses, from connecting a belay
device to your harness to using it as a connector at the end of a lanyard. The D-shape makes it
one of the strongest locking carabiners Petzl makes.
Strength : 28 kN major axis, 8 kN open gate, 7 kN cross-loaded
Available with locking system:
- SCREW-LOCK, weight: 74 g
- BALL-LOCK, weight: 78 g
- TRIACT-LOCK, weight: 78 g
WILLIAM M36
Pear-shaped locking carabiner with wide opening for belay stations and belaying
with Munter hitch
A large carabiner can come in handy in many places. This one’s shape and size make it useful
for belaying and rappelling with the Munter hitch with single or double ropes, anchoring multiple
ropes and slings and keeping the belay station organized.
Strength : 25 kN major axis, 7 kN open gate, 7 kN cross-loaded
Available with locking system:
- SCREW-LOCK, weight: 88 g
- BALL-LOCK, weight: 94 g
- TRIACT-LOCK, weight: 94 g
ATTACHE 3D M38 SL
Ultralight compact pear-shaped locking carabiner
The original mini-HMS carabiner has been redesigned to be ultralight. The ATTACHE 3D has
been reduced to a mere 55 g by removing all unnecessary material while maximizing the
strength. The 3D shape keeps the original ATTACHE versatility while reducing weight. The ropebearing
surfaces have been optimized to balance fluidity with a minimum of excess weight.
Strength : 22 kN major axis, 6 kN open gate, 7 kN cross-loaded
Weight: 55 g
ATTACHE M35 SL
Compact pear-shaped locking carabiner
The size and shape of this carabiner make it popular for many uses: connecting a belay device
to a harness, belaying with a Munter hitch and using it as a multi-purpose carabiner at belay
stations.
Strength : 23 kN major axis, 6 kN open gate, 7 kN cross-loaded
Weight: 80 g
