clothes moth and Aedes mosquito. Alcohol<br />

and petroleum ether extracts were toxic<br />

ineffective against German cockroaches and<br />

An aqueous extract of the tops was toxic<br />

to American cockroaches when injected into<br />

the blood stream, but German cockroaches<br />

U. suberecta.<br />

An aqueous extract of the whole plant was<br />

nontoxic to German and American cockroaches<br />

An acetone extract of the leaves was<br />

toxic to mosquito larvae.--Jacobson (108).<br />

VALLESIA GLABRA Link.<br />

An aqueous extract of the branche sand<br />

leaves was somewhat toxic to American<br />

cockroaches when injected into the blood<br />

stream, but German cockroaches and milkweed<br />

bugs were unaffected after immersion<br />

An aqueous extract of the whole plant was<br />

toxic to American cockroaches when injected<br />
