- Dr. Veronica Engle retired after 25 years
at UTHSC with recognition as a Professor
Emeritus.
- Dr. Susan Jacob, most recently interim dean,
retired with recognition as a Professor Emeritus.
She is a part-time consultant to Dean Talbot.
- Dr. Marion Donohoe resigned to begin a
teaching career at the University of Texas
Health Science Center in San Antonio
• Department faculty changes in appointment
- Dr. Cheryl Stegbauer stepped down as
associate dean for Academic Affairs.
She continues as a professor in a full-time
faculty position.

- Dr. Elizabeth Davis-Lee resigned as an assistant
professor. She continues as affiliated faculty
with a primary appointment at University of
Arkansas in Fayetteville.
• Department faculty honors:
- Dr. Irma Jordan was inducted as a Fellow in the
American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
- Dr. Susan Patton was inducted as a Fellow in
the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners
DNP tract. Plan to graduate in May, 2013. • Community
Service: Faculty Advisor for Student Nursing Association.
Participated in Convoy of Hope Health Fair.
