<strong>The</strong> Andrew D. Holt Scholars Program<br />
memorializes UT’s former president<br />
Dr. Andy Holt for his efforts to build<br />
the <strong>University</strong>’s scholarship program<br />
during his 20-year association with<br />
the institution. <strong>The</strong> most prestigious<br />
scholarship awarded by the UT Alumni<br />
Association supports students with<br />
two or more years remaining in his/her<br />
curriculum and who have demonstrated<br />
academic merit and leadership skills.<br />
<strong>The</strong> total amount <strong>of</strong> the two-year<br />
scholarship is $4,000 to be distributed<br />
at $2,000 per year to one student.<br />

Imhotep Society<br />
<strong>The</strong> Imhotep Society is an organization<br />
for the recognition <strong>of</strong> students, faculty,<br />
staff and alumni who have significantly<br />
contributed to student life and student<br />
process at UTHSC. While the principal<br />
objective <strong>of</strong> the Society is to reward<br />
and recognize student leadership on<br />
campus, a secondary goal is to inspire<br />
students to continue leadership and<br />
service roles as alumni <strong>of</strong> the <strong>University</strong>.<br />
